Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect minimal information to provide the service:

• Conversation data — Your messages during the assessment, processed in real-time by our AI model. The guide does not ask for personally identifying information during the conversation. If you voluntarily share personal information, it will be included in the session data and subject to our retention policy below.
• Email address — We receive the email address you provide to Stripe during checkout. If you sign in via a magic link, your email is also stored in your account record. We use your email only to associate your purchases and assessment results with your account.
• Payment data — Processed entirely by Stripe. We receive a payment confirmation and your email address but do not see or store your card number, billing address, or other payment details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Technical data — Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and rate-limiting purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Conversation data is used solely to generate your assessment result and facilitate follow-up conversation. It is processed by Anthropic's Claude API.
• Email address is used to link your purchases to your account and to look up previous assessment results when you return.
• Payment confirmations are used to grant access to the assessment.
• Technical data is used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and basic analytics.

3. Data Retention

• Conversation sessions are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses during your session. We do not store your conversation content on our servers. Anthropic's data retention policies govern how conversation data is handled on their infrastructure — see their privacy policy linked below.
• Assessment results — When you receive your typing result, we store the structured assessment (your Enneagram type, wing, confidence level, and a brief summary written by the guide). This is our guide's output, not your private conversation. It is retained so you can return and pick up where you left off. It does not include your messages.
• Browser conversation data Your conversation history displayed in the chat is stored in your browser's local storage so you can return to it across visits. You can clear it at any time by clicking "Start fresh" in the chat, or by clearing your browser data.
• Email and account data — Your email address is retained as part of your purchase and account records so you can return and access your results.
• Payment records are retained by Stripe per their data retention policies.

4. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude API) — Processes conversation data to generate responses. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — Handles payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — Delivers email copies of your conversation, only when you request one. Your email address and conversation content are sent to Resend solely for delivery. See Resend's Privacy Policy.

5. Voluntary Sharing

Feedback: You may choose to share feedback from within the chat interface. This is entirely voluntary. If you send feedback, you can optionally include specific messages from your conversation — you choose exactly which parts to share. Your conversation data during the session is processed only by the AI to generate your responses. If you choose to share conversation excerpts as part of your feedback, those shared portions may be reviewed by our team to improve the experience.

Email copy: You can request an email copy of your conversation. When you do, your email address and conversation content are sent through Resend solely for delivery.

6. Your Rights

Your conversation exists only in your browser and on Anthropic's infrastructure during processing. Your email address, assessment results, and account data stored by us can be deleted on request. If you have concerns about specific data, contact us and we will address them promptly.

7. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Browser local storage is used to persist your conversation so you can return to it later. Session storage is used only to hold a temporary access token within the current browser tab. If you sign in via a magic link, a secure, HTTP-only session cookie is set to keep you signed in for 24 hours.

8. Children

This service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
